FREEZER DREAMS tells the story of a Kadijah, a teenager with a rare life-threatening illness that causes her to collapse when her body temperature gets too high. Consequently, she must be kept cool and remains trapped inside her air-conditioned home with an overprotective mother and a resentful younger sister. As Kadijah starts to see glimpses of the outside world she begins to question whether she should stay in a house that is suffocating her or risk her life to get out into the world.
