CYNDY A. MARION (Writer/Director) is the Producing Artistic Director of White Horse Theater Company. A native New Yorker, Cyndy was named one of nytheatre.com's “People of the Year” for 2007. Other design credits include Mina(La MaMa), Uncle Vanya(Sonet Repertory), The Open Couple,PB&J (NY Fringe Festival) The Higher Education ofKhalid Amir (NY Midtown Festival), The Book of Lambert (La MaMa), The Star Without Name, Outside it Snows,Miss Julie,The Servants,and the set design of the opera VillaDiodati (45th Street Theater) for which in 2008 he received honorific mentioning for the set design at NY Musical Festival. He has participated in many international theater festivals in the U.S. and Europe. His achievements include also solo exhibitions of art works and installations in different countries. Andis just published his book about his theater creations entitled The Passion for the Stage. He is a director of the board of the not for profit organization Albanian Excellence, which promotes Albanian culture and heritage and is a great supporter of the performing arts community.
BRIAN ALDOUS(Lighting Designer) has been lighting in NYC for over 25 years, beginning with En Garde Arts (Crowbar in the then-ruinous Victory Theatre), Circle Rep (Regina Taylor’s Escape from Paradise) and the Blue Man Group (Tubes, still at Astor Place).Designs since then include: A.R. Gurney’s What I Did Last Summer and John Guare’s Marco Polo Sings a Solo for Signature, Mr. Gurney’s Crazy Mary at Playwrights’ Horizons, Russell Lees’ Nixon’s Nixon for MCC and Peggy Stafford’s Motel Cherry at HERE. His latest design was for The Invention of Tragedy by Mac Wellman at the Flea. He is Lighting Director for Symphony Space and teaches at CCNY.
