Richard Vetere is a poet, playwright, novelist, film and television writer and actor. He is the author of forty plays including: Gangster Apparel, The Engagement, First Love, The Marriage Fool, Hale the Hero! and How to Go Out on a Date in Queens . His first novel, The Third Miracle, is published in hard cover by Carroll & Graf and in paperback by Simon & Schuster. The Third Miracle has also been made into a movie starring Ed Harris and produced by Francis Ford Coppola. Mr. Vetere holds a master's degree in contemporary English literature from Columbia University and is a member of PEN, the Dramatists Guild, the Writers Guild, Poets & Writers and the New York Playwrights Lab.
